The bergamot from Reggio Calabria is once again confirmed as a world-class excellence that proudly bears the name of Calabria and more precisely of Reggio Calabria.
Golden yellow, produced by countless qualities, this time was the protagonist of the 30th edition of the Accademia del Profumo award.
150.000 Italians were seduced by the feminine fragrance Si’ by Giorgio Armani (of L’Oréal Italia Luxe) and the men Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum (by LVMH Italia) who were rewarded as ‘Best Perfume of the Year‘.
The first perfume, with scented hints of blackcurrant nectar, was created for women who want to dare first-hand and sees Cate Blanchett as a muse as she parachutes, pirouettes up into the sky and decides Si’ freely.
The male perfume most beloved by the Italians is the result of the agreement signed by the House of Dior with the bergamot farmers of Reggio Calabria: its particularity. A sweet and spicy fragrance, especially appreciated by all those who bought it.
At the Gran Galà of the perfume industry on the Mezzanotte Palace in Milan, have also received other prestigious awards: A technical jury voted as ‘Best Olfactory Creation’ the female scent Tiffany & Co EDP Intense and the male Tom Ford Ombre’ Leather.
The same jury also chose the ‘Best perfume made in Italy’: for the women’s edition won Acqua – Parma Chinotto of Liguria-Blu Mediterraneo and, in the men’s category, Acqua – Parma Colonia Sandalo – Ingredient Collection.
Also rewarded is the ‘Best Packaging’ of the Year: the elegantly rounded bottle of the female fragrance Nomade Chloé’ and, for men, the dark bottle of Y Eau de Parfum I Yves Saint Lauren.
